Handbeading is one skill I really enjoy as a fashion designer.  It brings out a sense of order and direction in an otherwise chaotic world like my studio!  It all starts with the basic design drawn in pencil on a fabric (tulle stretched out on embroidery hoop) and then beading by hand every single bugle beads, sequins and recycled pearls from old costume jewelries.  I then cut it out at the edges and will be appliqued on one of my designs, this one on a Renaissance-inspired wedding gown!
